Enhanced Volume Units and Time Duration Settings in TracPlus Cloud

TracPlus Cloud now offers enhanced settings for volume units and time duration units, giving users the flexibility to tailor data displays to their operational needs and preferences. This guide provides an overview of these new features, helping you navigate and customize these settings for optimal use.

Enhanced Volume Units

The volume unit settings allow users to select their preferred unit of measurement for volume-related data, such as water/retardant drops and fills. Users can choose between litres (default) and US gallons.

Changing Volume Units

  1. Accessing Settings: Navigate to the General settings menu in your TracPlus Cloud account via 'Settings on the left bar' then 'General'.
  2. Selecting Volume Units: Locate the volume unit settings at the bottom and select your preferred unit (litres or US gallons).
  3. Applying Changes: Your changes will be saved as soon as you click the option. There is no requirement to do anything else. This will update the volume units displayed across the platform for your account only — other staff can set their own units as required.

Time Duration Units

Time duration units can be displayed in hours:minutes (default) or decimal hours. This feature is designed to offer precision and ease in interpreting duration-related data. Durations less than 6 minutes are shown in minutes and seconds for clarity, while durations of 6 minutes or more can be displayed in decimal hours.
